Hagiwara Clinic offers comprehensive internal medicine with a focus on nephrology (kidney diseases), hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, and gastrointestinal disorders. We aim to provide patient-centered care that meets the individual needs of each patient.
Please bring your health insurance card on your first visit. Without a valid insurance card, treatment cannot be covered under insurance. We assure you that your personal information will be used solely for medical purposes and will be protected from leakage or unauthorized access.
Dr. Shinji Hagiwara inherited the Hagiwara Clinic, founded by his father. He completed his internal medicine and nephrology training at leading medical institutions such as the National Center for Global Health and Medicine and Juntendo University. He conducted advanced research on the molecular mechanisms and treatment of diabetic nephropathy in Australia and engaged in rural medicine at Rumoi City Hospital in Hokkaido. Dr. Hagiwara focuses on patient-centered care, particularly in nephrology, internal medicine, and geriatric medicine. He is affiliated with several medical societies and actively conducts research on diabetic nephropathy as a part-time lecturer at Juntendo University.
Hagiwara Clinic treats a wide range of conditions, from acute diseases like colds, flu, and pneumonia, to lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. We offer various diagnostic tests, including blood tests, urine tests, chest X-rays, and ECGs, with a focus on early treatment and regular monitoring to prevent complications.
The clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney-related diseases, including acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, and chronic kidney failure. We offer comprehensive diagnostic tests, including urine analysis, blood tests, and ultrasound, to prevent the progression of conditions like nephrotic syndrome and chronic kidney failure through early intervention.
We provide personalized care for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, focusing on early detection and management to prevent complications such as neuropathy, retinopathy, and kidney disease. We offer blood glucose monitoring and urine tests, and tailor treatment plans involving diet, exercise, and medications, including insulin therapy.
Hagiwara Clinic offers treatment for various gastrointestinal diseases, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers, and Helicobacter pylori infections. We provide diagnostic tests such as ultrasound and H. pylori screening, and refer patients to nearby facilities for endoscopic examinations when necessary. For patients with a family history of gastrointestinal cancers, early detection of stomach and colon cancers is emphasized.
We offer treatment and guidance for lifestyle-related diseases, which are often caused by unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, smoking, and excessive alcohol consumption. Early detection and lifestyle modifications are key to managing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. The clinic also offers health screenings and provides support for disease prevention. Our hypertension management focuses on detailed, personalized care to reduce the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
The clinic incorporates traditional Chinese medicine to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities and improve immune function. Chinese medicine is particularly effective for conditions like asthma, eczema, and menopausal symptoms. It can also complement Western medicine to provide a more balanced, holistic treatment approach, with fewer side effects.
The clinic provides trigger point injections to target specific muscle tension areas (trigger points) to relieve chronic muscle pain. This treatment is particularly effective for conditions like myofascial pain syndrome and is commonly applied to areas such as the back, neck, and shoulders.
Hagiwara Clinic offers various private (non-insured) treatments, including vaccinations, vitamin injections, treatments for androgenetic alopecia (AGA), and erectile dysfunction (ED). Please call to make an appointment.
Initial consultation and counseling for new patients are available on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings.
Vitamin B1 intravenous injection promotes recovery from fatigue by eliminating lactic acid and improving blood circulation, easing muscle fatigue. It also aids in alcohol metabolism, making it effective for hangover relief. While vitamin B1 can be supplemented through diet or supplements, injections provide more immediate results.
Vitamin B1 Injection is effective for:
• Fatigue
• Lethargy
• Muscle soreness
• Stiff shoulders
• Cold sensitivity
• Hangovers
Shiratama injection is an anti-aging and whitening treatment. The main ingredient, glutathione, exists in the body and suppresses melanin production, normalizing skin turnover. This treatment brightens skin tone and helps improve dark spots and dullness. It also has immune-boosting and liver-protecting effects.
Placenta extract, derived from human placenta, is used for beauty and fatigue recovery. It has a wide range of benefits, including immune system enhancement, fatigue recovery, skin rejuvenation, and liver protection.
High-dose vitamin C therapy is a cutting-edge treatment researched in the U.S. and other countries as an alternative cancer therapy. In the field of aesthetics, it is also known for its whitening and skin-brightening effects. The therapy involves administering approximately 10 to 50 times the amount of vitamin C that can be obtained from supplements directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous drip, providing a powerful antioxidant effect.
Benefits of High-Dose Vitamin C Therapy:
• Promotes collagen production
• Suppresses melanin formation, helping to lighten the skin
• Potent antioxidant effect, protecting the body from oxidative stress
• Helps alleviate fatigue and enhances anti-stress effects
• Boosts immune function
• May help prevent cancer through its strong antioxidant properties
• Improves lifestyle-related conditions
• Has anti-allergy effects
While the aesthetic components are absorbed throughout the body, the results may not be immediate, and effects vary from person to person. Continued treatment is recommended for optimal results.
